Building tools. Since 1989.

An internet access service over BBS in 1989. Visual Dialogscript in 1995, used by the UN, HP Palo Alto, IBM and BP Oil. The largest multi-carrier datacenter in the Midi-Pyrénées region in 2003. Today, I build sharp software for solo entrepreneurs and for organizations that can't stand bloat.

Journey — a few milestones

Thirty-six years of building,
and counting.

A passion that goes back to my late teens — first steps on a ZX Spectrum in the early '80s — but professional work begins in 1989. Not a linear success story; a path that zigzags between live entertainment, film, datacenters and programming languages. The common thread: having something to say, and the will to reach the destination.

1984—89 Live entertainment entrepreneur, then feature film producer. A formative detour: you learn to arbitrate between the idea, the budget and reality.
1989 Launched an internet access service over BBS. A French pioneer of network access, long before the general public.
1993—2003 In-store advertising computer systems for Galeries Lafayette, Nouvelles Galeries, Atac, Intermarché, Champion. Created Everywhere Access — a dynamic cache with on-the-fly compression for mobile connections in poorly covered areas.
1994 Winner of the Microsoft Access competition (Soft & Micro, March 1994).
1995 Co-created Visual Dialogscript with Julian Moss (MIT). A Windows scripting language used by the UN, HP Palo Alto, IBM, BP Oil. Still published today.
1999 Full audit of the software estate of the ANPE (France's national employment agency) for Y2K compliance. Co-developed with Julian Moss a freeware utility checking BIOS compatibility with the Year 2000 rollover.
2003—06 The largest multi-carrier datacenter in Midi-Pyrénées, in Toulouse — study, design, build and operation. In parallel, research into connected villages within a European project supervised by CNES, the French space agency.
2008—11 Switchless communication equipment for a telephone carrier.
2014—19 Secure mobile terminals built to the most demanding standards. President of ACME SAS — a multi-service company — since 2014.
2024—26 A new wave of sharp tools: V-Fact, SejourFacile, V-Jarvis. Lightweight stack, anti-bloatware, AI as leverage — not as a gimmick.

“An Agile approach long before the concept and its methods (SCRUM) were invented… For me, results come before method.”

Manifesto

Why I still build.

01

The user, not the developer.

Too many modern programmers are fixated on the skills they have acquired rather than on understanding people and their trades. The result: interfaces designed by them, mostly for them, and rarely for real users. That is the root of most frustrating software.

I design the other way round. The business first, the user next, the code last — in service of both.

02

Lightweight stack, imagination first.

Languages matter little to me — they are all fit for purpose. I don't yield to the pressure of trends that shift as aimlessly as the weather. I favor stacks that are lightweight, anti-bloatware, sharp and efficient.

What counts is the idea. And power still belongs, now as ever, to imagination.

“There are many ways of seeing the world. There are many languages.
Almost everything can be boiled down to strings…”

Whatever the language, you need something to say and the skill to say it. Of all the possible paths, the best one is the one that gets you there.

On the web · a note

Notepad, 1994.
AI, under control, 2026.

I have been building websites since HTML was invented — 1994. My first domain was sade.net. Today it belongs to SADE INVEST GROUP, my current holding company, but that is where it all began.

Always the same anti-bloatware philosophy: I carefully avoided PageMaker, CoffeeCup, Word and the other generators that spat out proprietary HTML stuffed with useless tags. At a time when head programmers at large organizations called me in to fix HTML bugs they could no longer diagnose — their tools had weaned them off reading code — I would open their file in Notepad. Simple as that.

Today, I use AI. But under control. It speeds things up, it suggests, it debugs. It does not decide for me. I review every line, I make every call — because a good tool is still just a tool, and the imagination remains that of the human holding it.

“They had tools.
I had Notepad. My code worked.”

This very site: hand-written HTML/CSS, two Google typefaces, thirty lines of JavaScript. No framework, no build step, no tracker. It had to stay consistent.

What I build

Tools in production, companies in motion.

Not a frozen catalog. A suite of tools I build and keep alive, some for my own companies, others for my clients. Each line below is an ongoing story.

2026 V-Fact↗ Invoicing and sales management SaaS. Compliant with France's 2026 e-invoicing mandate. Zero commission, independent of any bank. A direct descendant of GWeb (2000), itself built on DBCgi (1998) — twenty-eight years of unbroken technical lineage. Live 2025 SejourFacile↗ Short-term rental management tool. Designed for Airbnb hosts who want to take back control without drowning in heavyweight platforms. Platform in its final stretch — free early access for the first users. Final stretch 2026 V-Jarvis Intelligent assistant for document management and legal analysis. A personal tool first, now being industrialized for independents buried under heavy paperwork. Coming soon 2025 V-Shield↗ One of the very few tools on the market that truly disinfects a compromised WordPress or PHP site. More powerful than MalCare — deep cleaning, not a mere surface scan. Live 2024 V-Panel A multi-tenant cPanel for Windows Server — where the market stopped at Linux. Host multiple clients on a native Windows stack, without workarounds. Live 2024 V-IpBan A supercharged GUI for IpBan (Windows). Ban, monitor, fine-tune — no CLI, no reinventing the same interface every time. Live 2025 V-Cert To stop fighting with ZeroSSL or le64. An SSL admin dashboard for Windows: auto-discovery of sites from Apache or C:\hosts, issuance and renewal via Let's Encrypt (le64) or ZeroSSL, built-in task scheduler. Sexy for an admin who just wants it to work. Live 2024 WebFactory In-house site generation tool for my clients. Templates tailored to each trade, AI-assisted content generation. Behind the sites you will find further down this page. Live 2014 → ACME↗ My main IT company, which I have chaired since 2014. Hosting, custom development, business services — including the bulk SMS sending engine (derived from the DeskSMS code). Several of the tools on this page are run within ACME. Company 1995 → Visual Dialogscript↗ Windows scripting language, co-created with Julian Moss (MIT). Used by the UN, HP Palo Alto, IBM, BP Oil and many others. Still published today. The cornerstone of everything I have built since. Legacy site (dialogscript.com) — redesign planned alongside a new release. Living legend

Under the SADE brand since 1998, under V-Softs today — it is the same hand writing the code. Twenty-eight years of continuity, no opportunistic pivots, no framework of the month.

Client work · live sites

Also crafted by my hands,
for others.

A few public examples. The stack reflects either the client's choice or the best fit for the project — pure HTML when that is enough, an ultra-fast proprietary CMS when the client needs muscle, WordPress when the client insists. I adapt without betraying the philosophy: not one of these sites carries the weight of a run-of-the-mill website.

horus-sas.com↗ Premium CBD store, France (my own company). Catalog, mega-menu, editorial blog, payments, stock management. Supercharged proprietary CMS — unapologetic "speed of light" performance, polished ergonomics, NF525 compliance. PHP · MySQL · Proprietary CMS acme-sas.com↗ Website of my main IT company. Showcase + IT services portfolio + client portal. Same proprietary CMS as Horus — reusable, modular, anti-bloatware by design. Speed-of-light performance set as an explicit goal. PHP · MySQL · Proprietary CMS ariel.daunizeau.net↗ A memorial site dedicated to my mother, Ariel Daunizeau (1930-1994), lyric soprano at the Paris Opera. More than 300 documented performances across 21 operas, 77 photographs, audiovisual and press archives. A labor of remembrance close to my heart — and despite the wealth of content, speed-of-light performance maintained. PHP · MySQL · Proprietary CMS cavagnac.com↗ Cavagnac Lake — a holiday venue specializing in carp fishing (52 acres, south-west France). The client wanted it very (perhaps too) graphic; my proprietary CMS delivered that level of effect without sacrificing performance. PHP · Proprietary CMS diego-diagnostic.fr↗ Diego Diagnostic — a real estate diagnostics firm (energy performance, asbestos, electrical, gas, termites, lead…). Pure HTML, zero framework — absolute simplicity, because the brief lent itself to it and loading speed mattered more than a layer of effects. HTML · CSS · zero JS graines.tomatofanny.com↗ Les Graines de TomatoFanny — an online store for heirloom seeds of tomatoes and vegetables, grown in living soil in Eauze (Gers, France). Catalog sorted by color, educational gardening blog, integrated payment. A lightweight store that puts product imagery and quick reading first. Proprietary CMS

And plenty of others — WordPress imposed by some clients, short-lived sites, event showcases. All shared the same guiding principle: deliver without bloatware.

Work together

If you want to build, here is how it works.

I don't sell "services". I commit to a handful of organizations at a time, as an architect or as a technical right hand. The rule is simple: a human understands your business before a single line of code is written. Agile long before the method was invented — results come before method.

i.

Conversation

We talk. Not a bullet-point brief, but a real conversation: what you really want, what is blocking you, what could unlock everything else.

ii.

Sharp scoping

I propose a short path. Not an 18-month roadmap, but a deliverable that changes something within the first few weeks. Anti-bloatware, by default.

iii.

Continuous building

We iterate on reality — your users, your business — not on a frozen specification. I stay reachable, I decide fast, and you own everything.

Build together

An idea. A word.
Let's see if it can take shape.

No 12-field form. Three lines to tell me who you are and what you would like to see exist. I reply within 48 hours.

No cold calls. No newsletter. No ad pixels.
